Double - Solo - Tour 2021/22
"Solo … But Not Alone!!
I'm looking forward to playing concerts with some friends.
Due to the pandemic, my solo project has moved a bit more into focus.
Since I heard that some colleagues feel the same way, I got the idea to organize a tour with solo projects.
Then I asked 10 people and now there are 12 concerts with solos and duos!
I'm super excited to hear all this new fresh stuff and be with inspiring fellow musicians"

"It's a snapshot of sound explorations of my instrument. The limits of natural acoustics of the double bass, organic-abstract textures and associative free-flow were the content of three wonderful days of recording at Bergkirche Tharandt in July 2020. The best takes made it onto this little beauty and are free to the world as of today..."
Okoton Album
Unorthodox sounds combined with concrete melodies, harmonies and time-flow. A compositional balance between convention and abstraction. A jazz quartet with contemporary background.

Looking forward to playing my solo at the ORT (Peter Kowald Gesellschaft) in Wuppertal
and after that going on the road -
Solo with my Bass!
After two years of pandemic trouble I`m happy to go on tour for a longer trip.
I’m grateful for getting the opportunity to travel to France!!!
